A cut and paste from Heidi's Blog. I edited it a bit. Glimpses into my time in Vegas..

Kathy using her amazing talents to fix my forever thought to be retarded nails. Unfortunately I have bitten them all off. I will have to wait til they grow out again to try her filing method.
Jordan with his cousins, Mckelle and Madison pulling funny goggle faces.
He finally learned to swim....

Little sweet Ellie Jo! She is such a tender little girl.
Nice jump, Mckelle!
Night time hot-tubbin'
Ryan and Mike tease each other about having "kissing cousins" we'll try to keep it to hugging

Aunt Heidi and Taylor!
One night, we watched Narnia and Ella Enchanted on a projector outside on their basketball court! It was perfect temperature! Oh, that night was so great--so FUN!

Here's cute Tay-Tay and Jo-Jo! Bestest Cousins!
Here's just one of the times we decorated cupcakes! Kathy bought all the "bells and whistles" to making decorating cupcakes so fun!
More swimming....
....and night swimmng!.....
Madison- can't you just tell in her face how much fun she's having? I love it!
We were so sad to have this week end! But the girls, like I posted earlier got to have a blast out on the town!

My sister in law and her girls in their new back yard! They just moved to vegas and were so happy to find grass. You must know it is about as big as you see there! So tiny, they went from an acre in Indy to this!

~Me and Heidi~

I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Here we are at dinner at Claim Jumper--YUMMY! So here we are at ... LUCY!...My new favorite store!

Of course we HAD to take pictures! We couldn't believe all we purchased. So fun! So girl-like!

Oh, did I mention our TWINNER SWEATSUITS? Did we feel silly? Not a bit... well, I didn't anyway. But this was SO my kind of night! Good food, good friends, good clothes...

Okay the reason for so many bags is partially because we had to put the clothes that we came into the store in something... that gave us each an extra bag.

At first Kathy thought a disguise would be better...

You know when you're shopping so long that you just end up looking at everything? Even after you've finished up the transaction? Well, that happened to Heidi... We were all done, about to leave--finally--and then Heidi spotted them...."refreshing citrus towelettes" ...she started rubbing the tester all over her arms and neck...Mmmm....it smelled soooo good! Then I and Kathy noticed what I was doing, and looked at the bottle she was pulling them out of, they weren't for bodies, but for yoga mats! I didn't think they'd hurt her, but she still decided to RUN to the bathroom to wash it off. ...In our comfy, matching sweatsuits...we're finally ready for a good chick-flick!This was such a great night! A great memory made! I love you guys!

Sisters

All my life I have had best friends all around me. My sisters have taken care of me and loved me and I have done the same for them. Kate adores Taylor. Taylor mostly takes great care of Kate. Kate wants to do EVERYTHING that Taylor does. She wants to push the stroller, hold babies (stuffed animals) wear a purse around her arm, do her hair etc. Sunday they wore matching dresses, I guess I should have taken pictures of them for this post, but oh well, take what you can get right? They are excited for a new baby in the house, Jordan of course is hoping for a boy, but oh, sisters are priceless. It fills my heart to see Taylor and Kate enrich this relationship.

Why Didn't I think of this Before?

I have finally felt up to the task of folding my unsurmountable pile of laundry. I felt very clever when I decided to do it in shifts. I started with Kate's things, took them out, folded them, then put them away, then kitchen towels, rags, placemats etc... So I got through everything folded and put away except the socks. When I came back from putting my last load of whites in my closet, Kate had climbed up to the table, opened one of the drawers, that Ryan was sure would be used to store unwanted vegetables one day, and stuffed as many socks in that she could! Wow, that was so clever. At first I didn't appreciate the genius, but now when anyone wants socks I can just say to them, they are in the kitchen table drawer~ Genius.

Memoirs of a Blonde

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Terra

Look how much she has grown!
Probably only 1/6 her full size!

Terra is so much fun! Who knew I would ever be a dog person. If anyone was really wondering, here is the story. As a kid I
hated dogs. I was terrified of them because of the dogs that lived next door to me. Every time I would walk by their house they would bark, bark, bark at me, and then run to the other side of the house and bark some more. They were awful.

One summer we were fixing the fence in between our two houses and while it was down, one of them bit me in the bum! Traumatic.

Also, I think before that my dad brought some black labs home from the bull sale, Licorice and Rowdy, I think were their names. Anyway, they would chase us as kids. We would run with super speed because of the adrenaline surging through our bodies, you know the fight of flight response to danger... and then sit on the tramp screaming for someone to come to the rescue.

So there you have it, I hated all dogs, they always enduced fear, no matter what.

Now I am a mother, and my children love animals. When Jordan was little, however he had a dog jump on him, and from then on he was scared. I didn't want him to have the same fear it has taken me almost a life time to get over, so I thought... um something small, doesn't eat much, or leave much behind, and couldn't harm anything if it chewed. So we got Lucy. She was adorable, but stupid. She got hit by a car. So were we...

Roxy has been a great dog, we all love her, but again, she is small and doesn't like everything that Taylor, Kate, all the neighborhood friends, and their pets want to pet her through, so I realized we need a real dog. Terra. I love her.

Terra is the pup from Ryan's brother's litter and everyone, mostly my children love her mother, Cleo. We now love Terra just as much. She really is a part of the family.

And Yes, I could be considered a full fledged dog person!
